Top Rated Webtoon “Navillera” Dances onto Screens in a Drama Series from tvN and Netflix

The highly acclaimed webtoon “Navillera” by HUN and Ji-min is coming to your screens. Navillera is a 12-episode drama directed by Han Dong-hwa, written by Lee Eun-mi and produced by Studio Dragon and The Great Show. It is a coming-of-age story of inspiration and mentorship between Deok-chul, whose dream is to learn ballet at age 70, and Chae-rok, a gifted 23-year-old ballet dancer. Navillera will be broadcast on tvN in South Korea and stream on Netflix worldwide.

Deok-chul (played by Park In-hwan) takes a shot at his lifelong dream of becoming a ballet dancer at 70. Chae-rok (played by Song Kang) is a 23-year-old dancer who struggles with harsh realities and feels lost. Together they lift each other up to rise above their challenges in becoming ballerinos.

Navillera is based on the 2016–2017 Daum webtoon of the same name that captured the hearts of readers. Reborn as a live action drama series with spectacular movement and sound, the story takes on new life like a butterfly.

A stellar cast of seasoned acting greats and fresh rising stars has been assembled for Navillera : Park In-hwan as Deok-chul; Na Moon-hee as Hae-nam; Song Kang as Chae-rok; and Hong Seung-hee as Eun-ho.
