Sessions x The Joy Ruckus Club K-Pop SuperFest Line-Up Change
STREAMING LIVE ON JUNE 19TH
The Joy Ruckus Club has put together a one-day K-Pop music festival for K-Pop fans worldwide.
“Joy Ruckus Club K-Pop SuperFest is a gathering of some of the brightest superstars in K-Pop music for a global audience. Organized from Los Angeles, but filmed at the renowned Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul, this virtual festival will spotlight K-Pop as the most influential music genre outside of the West.”
-Kublai Kwon
K-Pop SuperFest is a special virtual concert set to showcase K-Pop’s most celebrated artists intended for a global audience and seeks to stand on par with events such as KCON USA. According to Kublai Kwon, the founder of The Joy Ruckus Club, this festival is in honor of his late cousin, Shin Hae Chul’s legacy by highlighting the superstars of K-Pop today. Heize will no longer be participating in this event, and instead GWSN and woo!ah! have been added to the line-up. The full line-up includes AleXa, Ailee, AB6IX, BLOO, Cravity, DJ Soda, Golden Child, Jessi, Lovelyz, Momoland, The Boyz, GWSN, woo!ah!, and Rain. Event t-shirts, NFT videos, signed posters, and virtual 1-on-1 meet and greet opportunities with artists will also be available at the festival.
This is the second major event put together by The Joy Ruckus Club this month. On June 13th, they also hosted an event called “I Hate Being Hated” which was a fundraiser for Stand With Asian Americans—mixing statements by influencers and Asian American community organizations with the aim to stop Asian hate through education and entertainment.
