Participating Fans Can Win a K-Beauty Kit (Valued $500) or a K-Beauty Make-Over for Nominating their Personal Hero from the Pandemic

WHAT: How were you impacted by the pandemic in the past year, and who was there to help you get through the hard times? During the next couple of weeks, people from all across the U.S. will be able to participate in the #DiscoverMyHero #DiscoverKorea campaign by nominating/tagging their personal hero who was there for them during the pandemic. It can be a friend, a family member, a coworker or even your favorite local restaurant owner who went out of their way to help them get through the tough year.

HOW: Anyone can participate by posting an Instagram post, detailing their story and tagging their hero. Use the hashtags #DiscoverMyHero and #DiscoverKorea

WHEN: Nominations are open until August 6th, 2021

PRIZES: The Korea Tourism Organization knows that travel has been tough this past year, so they have prepared some Korean beauty inspired gifts. Among the many participants, 50 stories/nominations will be selected. Both the participant and the nominated hero will receive a specially created K-Beauty Kit valued at around $500. Three pairs of participants (participant and their nominated hero) will be invited to a studio in LA to receive a K-Beauty makeover, which will be documented on camera.
