Original Series “Lost” Features Cannes’ Best Actress Jeon Do-yeon
Riding on the success of its first Korean original series My Roommate Is A Gumiho, iQiyi will feature seven more original and exclusive Korean films and series across an array of genres, along with a collection of critically-acclaimed tvN blockbusters on its international service.
The stellar line-up includes iQiyi’s original series Lost which stars Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Jeon Do-yeon and Ryu Jun-yeol, and a retro-romance film Waiting For Rain featuring Baeksang Arts Awards Best Actor Kang Ha-neul. Also featured is the exclusive drama Yumi’s Cells, starring Blue Dragon Film Awards winner Kim Go-eun.
The music-themed blockbuster The Box was highly praised by acclaimed director Kore-eda Hirokazu and stars EXO’s Park Chan-yeol. Meanwhile, the classic K-horror remake Whispering Corridors 6: The Humming starring Kim Seo-hyung is marking another addition to the film series after 12 years.
iQiyi’s original K-drama series Lost features Jeon Do-yeon, the first Korean actress who swept the who swept the Best Actress Awards at the Cannes Film Festival and Korea’s three major film festivals through the movie Secret Sunshine, alongside Ryu Jun-yeol (Reply 1988). This heartfelt drama tells a story of how two lost souls connect despite their 13-year age gap and heal each other to rise from the darkest bottom of their lives.
Adopted from a popular webtoon, Yumi’s Cells stars Kim Go-eun (Goblin: The Lonely and Great God) and Ahn Bo-hyun (Itaewon Class) to tell the interesting life stories from the point of view of a 30-something ordinary office worker. Get ready for Kim Go Eun’s dazzling new look with short bob and above-the-eyebrow bangs!
More highly anticipated K-dramas include The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim, a campus fantasy series featuring Kim Sae-ron (The Man from Nowhere) as an exorcist who fights against scary malicious spirits together with fellow child actor Nam Da-reum. Also, not to be missed are the dystopian courtroom drama The Devil Judge starring Ji Sung; The Road: The Tragedy Of One starring Ji Jin-Hee; and two suspense/ thriller series – High Class, starring Cho Yeo-jeong from Parasite and Home Town, directed by Park Hyun-suk (Stranger 2) and stars Han Ye-ri.
Starting this month, iQiyi will also stream a series of tvN films including Kim Ji Young, Born 1982 starring Jung Yoo-mi and Gong Yoo; On Your Wedding Day starring Park Bo-young and Kim Young-kwang. The Devil Judge

Adapted from a highly rated webtoon with the same title, Kim Go-Eun plays the female lead Yumi, an ordinary office worker. Yumi’s brain cells are personified in the drama. The love cells that fell into a coma due to being heartbroken become energetic again after a good-looking man with a high IQ appears. Ahn Bo-hyun, who gained popularity from “Itaewon Class”, plays the male lead Goo Woong, GOT7’s Jin-young plays as Yumi’s second boyfriend Ba-bi, and SHINee’s Min-ho plays a cameo role as Yumi’s wonderful and warm junior in the office.
The Road: The Tragedy Of One
This story describes the scandal and tragedy that occurred in “Royal The Hill” where the top 1% of the upper class in South Korea gathered. Ji Jin-hee plays a broadcaster who seems to have a great sense of journalistic duty but has a cold-blooded side that is unknown to others. He has a perfect wife (played by Yoon Se-ah) beside him who will protect their family at all costs. A broadcaster filled with desires in the News Bureau (played by Kim Hye-eun) is also involved in this tragedy. The plot will also keep you in suspense.
The story is about the lies, secrets, mysteries, suspense, and hypocrisy behind the perfect life of the top 0.1% of Korean women. Cho Yeo-jeong plays Song Yeo-wool, a lawyer who is suspected of killing her husband and loses everything overnight. In order to protect her daughter, she goes to the elite school where her daughter studies, yet bad rumors spread, and she faces great judgment from society.
Detective Choi Hyung-in (played by Yoo Jae-myung) investigates the serial killings in a small city that happened in 1999. Together with Jo Jung-hyun (played by Han Ye-ri), who’s searching for her missing niece, they fight against the terrorist Cho Kyung-ho (played by Um Tae-goo) and uncover the secrets of the incident in this suspense thriller.
EXO’s Chan-yeol plays the protagonist Ji-hoon, who has a high degree of enthusiasm for music but has stage phobia. He feels fear whenever he faces the crowd. Only by hiding in a box can his musical talent be showcased. After he and the poor music producer (played by Jo Dal-hwan) meet, the two embark on a musical performance journey of youth and dreams.
Waiting For Rain
Kang Ha-neul plays the college entrance exam re-examinee Young-ho who failed to pass more than once already. By chance, he remembers his elementary school classmate whom he hasn’t seen for many years and begins to exchange letters with So-hee (played by Chun Woo-hee). In each other’s company, they find their enthusiasm again towards life, but she has a rule: “Don’t request to meet, don’t come to visit.” Finally, the two agree to meet on a rainy December 31 night, so Young-ho waits to meet her on a rainy night on New Year’s Eve in the winter season that doesn’t rain.

“Whispering Corridors” is a classic Korean horror film series. After many years, “Whispering Corridors 6: The Humming” was made. After the protagonist Eun-hee (played by Kim Seo-hyung) loses her memories in high school, she returns to her alma mater as the Dean of Student Affairs but is tormented with visual and auditory hallucinations.
