BTS snag 3 Moonperson trophies at 2021 MTV VMAs, including “Group of the Year”

This marks the septet’s third consecutive year winning both “Group of the Year“ and “Best K-Pop“, and also their first time winning the “Song of the Summer” trophy.
This year, “Group of the Year“ and “Song of the Summer” were social award categories, with fans casting their votes in a bracket-style competition on @MTV’s Instagram stories.
