KCON:TACT HI 5, the fifth season of the world’s largest K-culture festival “KCON:TACT,” will kick off September 18th.

“KCON:TACT” has been captivating K-POP fans around the world both on and offline with impactful global performances. With the aid of its parent company, CJ ENM’s advanced technology, “KCON:TACT” has evolved into the only virtual K-Culture Festival that continues to build the connection between global K-POP fans and the artist they admire.

A total of twenty-three artists will participate in the virtual “KCON:TACT HI 5,” which runs from Saturday, September 18th to Sunday September 26th.

Using AR techniques and high-quality virtual stages, seven regions will be selected to interact with each artist’s performance. The 11-member boy group, INI, who debuted through ‘Produce 101 Japan Season 2’ will be also performing at KCON:TACT HI 5. INI announced the release of their debut single on September 18th and is ready to meet K-POP fans around the world at their first “KCON:TACT.”

There will also be special stages featuring Mnet’s Girls Planet 999 and Street Woman Fighter. 54 participants of Girls Planet 999 will have the stage for the main song O.O.O (Over & Over, Over). The stage will be unveiled on the 19th (Sunday). The special stage of the “Street Woman Fighter” crew, which is creating a hot craze for K-dance, will be available on Saturday, the 25th.

KCON:TACT will also be rolling out a selection of live and pre-recorded content that enhances the interaction between fans and artists, such as Meet & Greet, Fan Request Stage, and Fan Featuring Stage. Global K-pop fans are able to communicate with artists through the Meet & Greets, enjoy K-food and games together, as well as communicate directly or indirectly through non-face-to-face high-touch and eye-contact.

Meanwhile, “KCON:TACT HI 5,” which will continue its reign as the world’s largest K-culture, will be available on Mnet K-Pop and KCON Official YouTube channels.
