Black Knight, A New Netflix Series, Welcomes Song Seung Heon on Board

Song Seung Heon reunites with Director Cho Ui-seok as A Notorious Heir In the Show

Netflix has confirmed the casting of Song Seung Heon for its new series Black Knight. Black Knight illustrates an air polluted world in 2071, where people depend on respirator masks to breathe. Amid the chaos, Black Knight tells the story of a legendary delivery driver “5-8” with exceptional battle skills and a refugee “Sawol” who dreams of following in his footsteps.

Song Seung Heon joins Kim woo-bin, Esom, and Kang you-seok, completing a stellar cast lineup. Song has performed diverse characters in Voice Season 4, Dinner Mate, The Player, Black and Saimdang, Memoir of Colors. In 2002, he starred in director Cho Ui-seok’s debut film Make It Big, and the two are reuniting for this highly anticipated Netflix series.

In Black Knight, Song plays Ryu Seok, an intriguing villain and sole heir to Chun-myung Group — a powerful conglomerate monopolising oxygen supply to reign over the world where people cannot breathe without respirators.

With the news of Song Seung Heon joining the cast, anticipation for the series is at its peak. Black Knight will be released to worldwide audiences only on Netflix.
