House Of Lies: A Dangerous Place Called Home

House of Lies is a 12-episode mystery thriller starring Yoon Kyun-sang (Clean with Passion for Now, Oh the Mysterious, Doctors, Pinocchio) and Lim Ji-yeon (Welcome 2 Life, Tazza: One Eyed Jack, The Royal Gamble, High Society). With the teamwork between famous production teams in the film industry, a high-quality drama tells the story of a girl who returns
to the place which she dreads the most, in search of her sister who has disappeared.

Set in an apartment scheduled for reconstruction, a girl is in search for the truth behind her sister’s disappearance. The gradually uncovered secrets bring realistic fear and intense suspense, along with suspicious neighbours who hide their greed beneath ordinary looks. Jina (Lim Ji-yeon) is a hotel employee who appears to be leading a smooth life, but is filled with
a strong sense of inferiority. Following her sister’s disappearance, she returns to her family’s house at Rose Mansion to track down the whereabouts of her sister. Min-soo (Yoon Kyunsang) is a persistent detective who continues to investigate the case of the missing girl. He knows the apartment complex well. Although he appears to be a strong, reliable man, Minsoo also possesses dark secrets that not many know about. The further they dive into the case, the threats from the neighbours intensify. As new allegations pile up left and right, the identity of the culprit becomes more covered in mystery. With true to life events and subtle social intricacies, it will deliver a chilling story about those who are the closest to us!

The queen of transformation Lim Ji-yeon shows off her versatile charisma along with Yoon Kyun-sang, who displays his genre defying acting skills in this unique suspense thriller. This drama will be the comeback drama for both main leads since Yoon Kyun-sang’s “Class of Lies” and Lim Ji-yeon’s “Welcome 2 Life” In 2019.

House of Lies will be helmed by director Chang, who has presented his talent through “Death Bell” and “Canola” and it is written by scriptwriter Yoo Kab-yeol, who has been applauded for writing “Skeletons in the Closet and” “Man in Love.” It will be co-produced by JTBC Studio, BA Entertainment, which produced “The Chronicles of Evil,” “The Outlaws,” and “The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil,” and Film Monster, which produced “Intimate Strangers,” “Trap,” and “All of Us Are Dead.”

House of Lies will premiere on K-PLUS starting 14 May 2022, Saturday at 8.00pm (GMT+8). New episodes will air weekly every Saturday & Sunday at 8.00pm (GMT+8).
