[Event Coverage] Super Junior’s Super Show 9 In Kuala Lumpur
After years of being away from Malaysia, and a postponement due to COVID, SUPER JUNIOR brought their SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD in KL to a crowd of 10,000 fans in Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil.
With 8 members at the concert, LEETEUK, SIWON, KYUHYUN, DONGHAE, RYEOWOOK, EUNHYUK, SINDONG and YESUNG showed the fans that they still have the power and energy to make fans go crazy.

“I did not know that we have many fans in Malaysia. I was worried that after so long, you might have left us, but I’m not worried now”, says KYUHYUN, while EUNHYUK added, “Malaysia is very special to us, as not long ago, we shot our music video here” – referring to the video Dancing Out.

At the 3-hour concert, fans also celebrated DONGHAE’s upcoming birthday (October 15) by singing a happy birthday song. “Thank you for the birthday song and happy birthday to all who is celebrating their birthday today, and throughout this month.
The fans were energetic throughout the show. As KYUHYUN mentioned, “I can see that our fans have “grown” a lot like us, some even got married and bring their families together tonight. But your energy is still as before, powerful”.
Truly a “super” group, SUPER JUNIOR performed almost 30 songs in multiple genres and kept fans laughing throughout with their antics.
