Spring In Korea: Korea Tourism Organization Joins Matta Fair KL March 2023

Korea Tourism Organization Malaysia Office (KTO Malaysia) will participate in the upcoming 52nd Matta Fair, Malaysia’s biggest Travel Fair at the new venue – Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from 17 -19 March 2023. With the popularity of Korean wave or also known as “Hallyu” continuing to soar in Malaysia, KTO Malaysia welcomes all
Malaysians looking for a travel escape to explore the diverse charms of Korea, especially during the beautiful Spring season that begins end March onwards.

Fall in love with Korea again this Spring, for its pleasant weather and captivating scenery. During this season, “Kkonnori” (flower viewing) and “Sangchungaek”(spring picnickers) are common vocabulary amongst locals as it’s the perfect time the view the colourful blossoms.

Also, at this Matta Fair, There will be 11 exhibitors consisting of regional tourism organizations and inbound operators from Korea that will participate in the travel fair to promote Korea as a tourist destination as well as to interact with the MATTA visitors. Visitors can get key information regarding the latest travel guidelines, Muslim-friendly travel news, Hallyu destinations and enjoy many activities at the booth with plenty of gifts to be won. As 2023-2024 is designated Visit Korea Year, KTO Malaysia will be preparing various tourist attractions of Korea for Malaysians throughout the year.
