[Event Coverage] We Bridge K-pop Music Festival Ends In A Success!

(Photography by: Kim Trazo)

The We Bridge K-pop Music Festival and Expo held its first three-day event which brought over 15,000 fans from around the United States. It was held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center & Michelob ULTRA Arena and fans got to experience a lively mix of experiences from artist engagements, influential speakers, fashion, art, and stage performances.

A vibrant atmosphere is always expected when an event can bring together fans who love K-pop. The electric mix of music fills the air with fans meeting their favorite artists from across the world at the Grammy Museum for Hi-Touch and Q&A about the artists. Another great opportunity for interaction was the Grammy Stage which had KANGDANIEL, Jessi, MONSTA X, Dreamcatcher, ONEUS, ENHYPEN, CIX, BE’O, and BamBam who were able to interact with their loving fans in the crowd. It was a fan-artist moment that will never be forgotten.

This year’s lineup for Day 1 was MONSTA X, Jessi, KANGDANIEL, Dreamcatcher, CIX, and ONEUS, who performed on April 21, 2023. Performing on the second day were ENHYPEN, VIVIZ, ONEUS, BE’O, and BamBam. All K-pop fans can expect to see idiosyncratic performances from their favorite idols as each artist had a chance to perform around 5-6 songs giving their fans a fulfilled stage catered to their stage set up, costumes, and choreography. Whether you are a seasoned concert-goer or new to the genre, the festival is a fun and engaging way to experience the power of music to unite people.

We would also like to remind fans that this week was difficult for some fans and artists due to the expected news of Astro’s member Moonbin. Fans and artists alike were affected by the incident, and a shared connection of the entire community was present. We would like to express our appreciation and respect for the artists and staff members who continued with the event during the weekend.

Lastly, we at K-popped! would like to thank We Bridge for giving us this opportunity to cover the GRAMMY Museum meet and greet with the K-pop artists and experience the show.
