[Event Coverage] Soyou, Car the garden, Vincent Blue And Kassy Liven Up K-Drama OST Concert At The Korea Travel Fest 2023

On Saturday, Soyou, Car the garden, Vincent Blue and Kassy  made an appearance at a press conference ahead of the K-Drama OST Concert along with the Executive Vice President of International Tourism Division, Mr. Seo Young Choon. The K-Drama OST Concert is one of the main events of the Korea Travel Fest 2023. Soyou, Car the garden, Vincent Blue and Kassy – names synonymous with famous K-Drama original soundtracks – answered a few questions during the press conference.

The Korea Travel Fest 2023, hosted by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with Korea Tourism Organization Malaysia (KTO) was held on 28 and 29 October 2023 respectively. The two-day event which took place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in conjunction with Visit Korea Year 2023 and 2024 aimed to gain interest from Malaysians in visiting the country.

During the press conference, Soyou recommended fans to visit Gangwon Province as it is famous for delicious food and has a lot of exciting activities to try especially during winter. Visitors can also find numerous beautiful accommodations aside from hotels that would make the vacation more meaningful for them.

Kassy shared with the media that her favourite season is autumn, partly because she was born during that season. Other than that, Kassy also mentioned that autumn is the best time to visit Korea as the autumn foliage in the country is so breathtakingly beautiful.

At around 7 P.M., the K-Drama OST Concert began.

Soyou co-hosted the concert and did fantastically well as the emcee. Almost twenty original soundtracks and songs performed by the singers during the two-hour concert. Audience were served with top notch performances by the quartet. Listening to famous OSTs from well known K-Dramas sung by the original singers was like a gift.

Fans screamed their lungs out to sing along to “Romantic Sunday” by Car the garden and “One Sunny Day” by Kassy from “Hometown Cha Cha Cha”. Vincent Blue performed “Thumping” from “She Was Pretty” that surely made the audience’s hearts thumped. The concert was not perfect without Soyou’s “I Miss You” from “Goblin”, so when she began singing the audience went wild.

Each and every one of them thanked Malaysia fans for their support and warm welcome during this event and hoped that it will not be the last.
