[Event Coverage] A Fun Filled Surf with 9Wave Music Festival in Sunway Lagoon
9Wave Music Festival finally reached the shore last Saturday, and we had a blast immersing ourselves in the fantastic performances served hot and fresh by the 9 huge waves – Bobby, Shaun, HYOYEON, Henry, and 5 (G)I-DLE girls – Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua. The show that started at 6pm gathered thousands of fans from all over Malaysia.
The show started with Bobby’s powerful performance, packed with a rock hip-hop vibe and accompanied by a live band. Bobby’s strong presence, accentuated by his white-blonde hair, couldn’t be denied as he delivered an outstanding stage performance with nine of his famous songs, including Hollup, Break it Down, Devil, and Firework. Although the fans thirsted for more, unfortunately, Bobby had to bid farewell, concluding with ‘Heart Breaker Playboy’ as he had to leave for Japan right after the show.
