Korean singer-songwriter SUHO from the internationally-renowned K-pop group EXO has released his new alt-rock EP, “1 to 3”, via SM Entertainment. Listen HERE.

After reuniting with his multi-million-selling, trailblazing group EXO for their slick, seventh studio album “EXIST” last summer, SUHO is back with a new seven-track project he co-penned that solidifies his own sonic signature.

The title track ‘1 to 3’ is a bustling Brit-rock-inspired track with a distinctly nostalgic 90s feel, the easy-going melody soars and effortlessly showcases his whistle-clear falsetto. Watch the music video HERE.

Ahead of launching this third solo mini album, SUHO treated fans to the single ‘Cheese’ – a feel-good collaboration with Red Velvet’s WENDY, complete with a playful music video HERE. Further into the EP; SUHO dives deeper. The psychedelic alt-rock opener ‘Mayday’ depicts a journey in search of a soulmate, in this vast universe, who shares the same dream as you.

The sparse and pacey ‘Wishful Thinking’ gets paradoxical about wanting to live a peaceful life, even if it’s with distorted reality. ‘Moonlight’ celebrates the carefree bliss of youth where everyone can be the main character of their own life and achieve their dreams. The notions of escapism continues on the surf-rock ‘Alright Alright’ where he fantasises about living a whimsical life over lo-fi guitar riffs and an insistent rap verse from Giriboy. Experimental highlight ‘Zero Gravity’ hears SUHO match his lilting vocals with distorted synths and alternating acoustic and grunge-laced guitars, bass and punchy drums.

Following the release of his last solo EP “Grey Suit”, SUHO headlined London’s MIK Festival in 2022 – his first live solo show in the UK. The Korean music star is returning to the UK to kick off his first solo European tour on 10 September at the capital’s Indigo at The O2. SUHO and his band will also be playing in Paris, Düsseldorf, Berlin and Warsaw.
