[Event Coverage] Bambam Gathers Fans For An Iconic Fan Meet With Xiaomi
Bambam, a member of GOT7 and soloist returns to Malaysia after 8 months for a special fan meet. The fan meet, called the Iconic Fan Meet, was in conjunction with the release of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13 series at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on July 13, 2024.
Fans from several countries gathered to meet Bambam, including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and of course, Malaysia. The fans were selected by a lucky draw when the purchased the new Redmi Note 13 series. 150 fans were selected and filled up the special area near the stage. Fans without special passes also filled up the venue in Pavilion to catch a glimpse of their favourite star.
Bambam arrived with cheers from the fans. He was greeted by Hani Fadzil, who had previously emcee’d his previous fan sign event, and with Bambam friendly gestures, the two got on like old friends.

When asked about his activities on this visit, Bambam shared that he was able to have some local foods that he liked, including Bak Kut Teh, and Musang King Durian, where he had the chance to open the fruit himself. Hani also taught Bambam some new phrases to say to the fans, including “anje baby”, an alternative to saying “my love”.
Talking about the phone, Bambam shared that he really love the new color – Olive Green color as he was reminded of Got7’s fandom color, which is green. Bambam even shared some photos that he took using the new phone, and even agreed of the phones durability as he had occasionally dropped the phone and the phone was still functioning fine.
Bambam was also presented with a special video prepared by his fans. Feeling touched, he thanked everyone for all the love and support he received. He also mentioned that he was in the midst of preparing for a new album.
More lucky draw was made, a fans were given various gifts, such as signed posters, signed Redmi Note 12 Pro 5g and also a photo time with the star himself.

As all good things must come to an end, the event finally came to an end, but not without a photosession with the crowd. Bambam thanked all the fans who took the time to attend the fanmeet and promised to come again for any future events.
We do hope to see Bambam back again in Malaysia, in concert, a fan meet or even as tourist Bambam. Thank you for always coming back!
