[Event Coverage] BTOB and Melody Reunited in Kuala Lumpur for Nostalgia and Fun

After a long seven-year wait, BTOB finally returned to Kuala Lumpur to reunite with their beloved Malaysian Melody, and the atmosphere at the [3, 2, 1 Go! Melympic] fan-con was nothing short of electric. The Mega Star Arena was filled with excitement as fans eagerly awaited the arrival of their idols.

Inspired by the spirit of the Olympics, BTOB made a grand entrance, appearing as athletes at an opening ceremony, immediately setting a playful and energetic tone for the evening. The members wasted no time in connecting with Melody, bridging the gap of time and distance with heartfelt interactions and genuine affection.

Throughout the show, BTOB engaged with fans in both English and a touch of Bahasa, showcasing their effort to connect on a personal level. Minhyuk expressed the group’s deep longing to be reunited with their Malaysian fans, further strengthening the bond between artist and audience.

The fan-con was packed with fun and games, including Target Heart, Melody Attack, Crazy Ping Pong Challenge, Take My Love, Shot Put!, and Melody Ball Rolling, providing ample opportunities for BTOB and Melody to interact and create lasting memories. The playful competition and lighthearted banter filled the arena with laughter and joy.

Of course, no BTOB event is complete without their captivating performances. The setlist included a mix of their hit songs, such as “Say Yes”, “Starry Night,” “Heaven,” “Miss You,” “Only One for Me,” “Missing You,” and the ever-popular “Beep Beep.” Each performance was delivered with BTOB’s signature passion and energy, captivating the audience and creating an unforgettable experience.

One of the most touching moments of the show came when BTOB and Melody joined voices to sing “Saya Anak Malaysia,” a beautiful tribute to the host country and its fans. This heartfelt gesture further solidified the strong connection between BTOB and their Malaysian supporters.
