[Event Coverage] RIIZE Brings Their First Solo Concert to Malaysia

The wait for Malaysian BRIIZE is finally over. K-pop’s rising stars RIIZE made their debut on our shores for the RIIZING LOUD concert tour, and it was a night to remember. Fans packed (literally) the Idea Live Arena in Petaling Jaya, ready to “rise and realize” with the group.

The energy was palpable from the get go. As the lights dimmed, the crowd roared, armed with their lightsticks. RIIZE kicked off the night with a powerful performance of “Ember to Solar,” instantly setting the stage on fire. The members’ sharp choreography and strong vocals were even better live, and the crowd was totally captivated.

They didn’t waste any time, jumping right into other fan favorites like “Siren” and “Odyssey,” tracks from their new full-length album. You could tell the fans had been waiting for this moment, as they sang along to every word. The stage production was top-notch, with dynamic lighting and visuals that really brought each song to life.

But it wasn’t all about the high-energy numbers. RIIZE showed their versatility with more mellow tracks like “Memories” and “Be My Next.” These moments let the members’ emotional depth shine through, and it was a beautiful contrast to the explosive opening. The crowd was just as enthusiastic, waving their lightsticks in a sea of orange and singing along softly.

One of the best parts of the night was the members’ interactions with the fans. They took a break to chat with the crowd, and you could feel the genuine warmth and excitement. They talked about how much they loved Malaysian fans, and mentioned some of the local foods they’d been enjoying.

Then came the songs everyone had been waiting for. The atmosphere turned into one giant party when they performed “Talk Saxy,” “Get a Guitar,” and of course, “Boom Boom Bass.” The bass from the speakers was so loud you could feel it in your chest, and the crowd went wild. It was pure, unadulterated fun, and the members looked like they were having the time of their lives on stage.

A special moment for Malaysian BRIIZE came when RIIZE surprised everyone with a special cover of EXO’s Monster and TVXQ’s Hug, which showed they really did their homework for this show. It was a gesture that truly warmed the hearts of the fans.

The night ended with an encore that left everyone wanting more. They performed “Another Life” and “The End of the Day,” with the crowd singing at the top of their lungs. The members seemed genuinely moved by the turnout and the love they received. They took their time to thank everyone, waving to every corner of the arena.

RIIZE’s first solo concert in Malaysia was a massive success. It was more than just a concert; it was a celebration of their music and the connection they have with their fans. They proved they are a group with immense talent and a stage presence that is second to none. It was truly an unforgettable night for Malaysian BRIIZE, who will be re-living this concert for a long time.

We would like to thank iMe Malaysia for the invitation to this incredible event.
