[Event Coverage] Everything You Missed From 2025 Baekhyun’s Dreamy “Reverie” Tour Stop in Malaysia
Hot on the heels after KAION and SU:perstar, Baekhyun transformed the Idea Live Arena in Petaling Jaya into a dreamscape of sound and emotion on 23rd August 2025 as part of his Reverie World Tour.

What Is Baekhyun’s Reverie About?
As relayed by Baekhyun during the concert, “Reverie” stands for ideals/dreams, fantasy, and nostalgia, a fitting theme for him, as an artist who has mastered the art of blending spectacle and sentiment in his performances. The tour first kicked off in Seoul’s KSPO Dome in June 2025, and Malaysia was one of its anticipated stops as it was missed out during the 2024 Baekhyun Lonsdaleite Asia Tour.
Fans embraced the dreamy dress code wholeheartedly, donning flowing outfits and accessories in shades of purple and pink to match the tour’s ethereal vibe. The sea of lavender, paired with their glowing white EXO lightsticks changed the venue into a fantasy-like realm, in sync with the Reverie theme.
“It’s regretful that it’s only for one night in Malaysia,” Baekhyun told fans during the show. He also expressed how sad he was to have skipped the country during his 2024 tour, making this stop a meaningful one.

How was the setlist for Reverie in Malaysia? 27 Songs, 2.5 Hours of Pure Emotion
From the very first note, it was clear Baekhyun was set on making the night unforgettable. He performed a whopping 27 songs in a 2.5-hour set which had the crowd captivated from start to finish.
The setlist blended new tracks from his latest album with beloved fan classics. This included songs from the new Essence of Reverie album; Chocolate, Love Comes Back and Elevator as well as some from his previous releases such as Bambi (where his vocal runs were breath-taking) and Ghost. Crowd favourites such as Candy, Psycho and UN Village also had fans singing along that night. On a more personal note, standout moments for me included Baekhyun’s performance of “Pineapple Slice” (what a fun bob!), “Underwater” (with its immersive aquatic backdrop) as well as “Rendez-Vous” (which had a refreshing jazz twist to it).
The night then came to an end with Paranoia and Amusement Park, giving his fans a night to remember with a surreal and emotional dream which the fans will be replaying long after the lights went out.

We would like to thank iMe Malaysia for inviting us and making this happen.
