CNBLUE’s leader and solo artist Jung Yong Hwa returned to Kuala Lumpur for his 2025 live concert, ‘DIRECTOR’S CUT: OUR FINE DAYS’. And it was a truly fine night for 2000 Malaysian BOICE, who filled the Mega Star Arena to see the multi-talented artist.

The concert kicked off with a sleek opening VCR, setting the stage for an evening of musical brilliance. Yong Hwa emerged from the crowd, where the director’s chair was placed and the crowd went wild as he started with “One Fine Day” and “Your City.” His powerful vocals were instantly captivating, and his energy was infectious.

After greeting the fans, he smoothly transitioned into a series of lively tracks, including “Make You Mine,” “Small Talk,” and “I Got Ya.” The atmosphere was a perfect mix of cool vibes and high energy. The fans sang along to every lyric, their voices filling the arena.

The mood shifted to a more intimate setting as he performed heartfelt ballads. “Letter” (Korean version) and “Would You Marry Me” showcased his emotive voice, and you could feel the sincerity in every note. It was a beautiful moment of connection between the artist and his audience. He then got everyone energized again with “On Your Time.”
A quick chat with the fans brought laughter and cheers, before he dove back into the music. Yong Hwa continued to impress with “Note to Self,” “Almost Forever,” and a powerful performance of “Red.” The setlist was a masterclass in pacing, moving from high-octane rock to tender ballads with ease.

A second VCR gave fans a short break, but the energy never dropped. He came back on stage to perform “Espresso Martini” and “Summer Night in Heaven.” The summery, relaxed feel of these songs was perfect, making everyone feel like they were on a warm vacation. The crowd was then treated to “Summer Dream,” which only added to the good vibes.

The concert continued with more fan favorites, including “Love Me Baby Love Me” and “Pain Healer.” He took a moment to express his gratitude and talk to the fans before launching into a series of powerful songs. “원기옥,” “Firework,” and “Night Runner” had the entire arena on their feet, dancing and jumping along. The stage became a blur of flashing lights and pure rockstar energy.
For the encore, Yong Hwa surprised fans with “27 Years (10 Years),” a song that resonated with everyone who has followed his long career. He took a moment to thank the fans again, expressing his love for Malaysian BOICE.
He then performed two of his most iconic songs: “For First Time Lovers” and “Heartstring.” The whole venue became one giant choir, with fans singing every word with so much passion. It was an unforgettable moment, a perfect tribute to his role as an actor and musician. Before continuing with his last ment, fans sang to “Miss You”, prompting Yong Hwa to sing along eventhough the song was not on the list. The night ended with “Glory Days,” leaving everyone with a feeling of pure joy and satisfaction.
As the lights turned on all around, fans, still wanting for more, started screaming for encore. Aftee a couple minutes went by, Yong Hwa showed up once again on stage, and started playing the drums – “What should we play now?”, said Yong Hwa with his cheeky smile. Always wanting to satisfy his fans, Yong Hwa sang 5 more songs before finally leaving the stage.
