[Event Coverage] Reasons fans swoon over Doh Kyungsoo’s 2025″DO it!” concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
On 30th August 2025, just 8 days after Baekhyun’s Reverie concert, another EXO member was here! This time it was Kyungsoo. In fact, he returned almost exactly a year after Bloom, which is pretty quick considering how often Malaysia tends to get skipped for concerts. While the previous concert leaned on intimacy and nostalgia, this year’s brought about a noticeable upgrade in energy! From his opening track to the final encore, Kyungsoo performed with a sense of quiet confidence that put his fans at ease.

How Was The “DO it!” Setlist?
The concert flowed naturally through different segments, starting with upbeat, fun tracks into sultry mid-tempo numbers and then ballads that showcased DO’s emotional depth. Among the concert’s highlights were the must-not-be-missed “Popcorn” (with its engaging fan chant), “5 Minutes” (a bright, energizing crowd-pleaser), “That’s Okay” (the fans’ favourite ballad) and “In Another Life”(where the stage was bathed in dreamy hues of purple, green and blue light).
Production was far from minimal. Fans were treated to confetti showers, floating bubbles and bursts of pyrotechnics. One memorable moment came during “It’s Love,” where Kyungsoo was hoisted into the air against a moonlit backdrop after jokingly saying “Leklu“, much to the crowd’s delight.

Did Kyungsoo Have Any Talking Ments?
Absolutely. Between songs, he bantered with fans in his usual warm and humorous way. He shared an interesting TMI about his new in-ear monitors after 10 years, which now sport a white dot. As a known foodie, he also proudly proclaimed he had satay for lunch and cheekily recommended laksa for dinner (since he has yet to try it), prompting laughter and applause from the local fans.

How Did Fans Show Up?
The crowd followed a fresh dress code of white with hints of greens, olives and yellows, filling up the arena with some clean aesthetics. Fans stood up to many of the upbeat songs, making the night feel even more electric than last year’s. There were also several fan projects, one in particular which included the fans “taking” him on dates across Malaysia, showcasing local sights and food!
