Itaewon Class stars Park Seo-joon as headstrong Park Saeroyi. After being wrongfully expelled and convicted, Saeroyi takes a subtle route to revenge when he turns his once small bar into a large franchise company that becomes more successful than Jangga Group, a company helmed by the people who put him in jail.

The girl with the famous evil laugh is none other than the Girl from Nowhere. This Thai anthology series follows a mysterious, clever girl named Nanno (Kitty Chicha Amatayakul) with karmic revenge in her blood. Her specialty includes transferring to different schools, exposing the lies and misdeeds of the students and faculty at every turn.

 

5. Sweet Girl

Sweet Girl follows devoted family man Ray Cooper (Jason Momoa), who vows to exact justice against the pharmaceutical company responsible for pulling a potentially life-saving drug from the market just before his wife (Adria Arjona) dies from cancer. But when his search for the truth leads to a deadly encounter, Ray’s mission turns into a quest for vengeance in order to protect the only family he has left.

Night in Paradise is a delicate noir film in which gangster Tae-gu (Um Tae-goo) loses his beloved sister and niece when they die in a car accident. Suspecting a rival criminal organisation of orchestrating the accident, Tae-gu carries out bloody revenge. He then escapes to Jeju Island and hides out at the home of an arms dealer; however he is far from safe as night reaches paradise.

 

7. Revenger

Revenger is a martial arts film focused on former detective Kim Yool (Bruce Khan) who —  hell-bent on avenging the murder of his family — infiltrates a remote island that serves as a prison for vicious death row criminals.

 

8. 26 Years

26 Years is set twenty-six years after the 1980 massacre at Gwangju, South Korea, one of the most heartbreaking events in South Korean history where military forces opened fire on civilians during a pro-democracy protest. The fictional film follows three relatives of the victims who come together to hunt down the man responsible for the tragedies.
