XngHan&Xoul, the artist brand launched by XngHan under SM Entertainment, releases its first mini album “Glow” today – led by the uplifting title track. Listen HERE and watch the music video HERE.
The summer-ready title track ‘Glow’ is an energetic house-pop track driven by urgent synth hooks and powerful bassline. It captures the joy of rediscovering one’s inner light through connection, finding new purpose to life in shared moments with friends and loved ones. Bright and uplifting, it stands as XngHan’s anthem for youth.
Expanding XngHan&Xoul’s collaborative format, XngHan teams up with two new dancers for this release. The performance for ‘Glow’ centers on the concept of light, with fluid, expressive movements that bring the idea to life.
The five-track collection draws from a range of electronic-dance influences – including house, disco and Afropop – showcasing different sides of XngHan’s vibrant artistic point of view paired with sincere and life-affirming lyrics.
Ahead of the release, XngHan met his fans at “2026 XngHan&Xoul Fanmeeting [Let’s Glow]” yesterday in Seoul, where he introduced the album’s tracks and performed ‘Glow’ and ‘Wishlist’.
“I’m really happy to share a wide range of music under the XngHan&Xoul brand,” XngHan said. “The album is filled with sounds I love – it’s music you can dance to, but it’s not just about the dance. It also has a calm, more serene side. I believe good things are always better when shared, so I can’t wait for fans to enjoy it too.”
The eagerly-anticipated project drops approximately nine months after his debut single ‘Waste No Time’, which resonated with listeners worldwide for its honest portrayal of a new beginning. The single topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 12 regions worldwide, as well as earning press kudos from NME, DAZED, The Hollywood Reporter and Forbes.
The project opens with ‘Dancing Anyway’, gently easing in with a soft piano melody and airy synths, allowing XngHan’s silky vocals to fill the space, before unfolding into a pulsating electro-disco production. The song’s message of being willing to embrace love honestly without fear of getting hurt serves as a poignant and vulnerable starting point for the journey. On ‘Light The Fire’, XngHan sings about breaking free from expectations and chasing one’s passion without hesitation over futuristic disco beats with a rubbery bassline. The Afro-pop inspired ‘Wishlist’ brings a breezy yet romantic atmosphere before ‘Lovin’ On Me’ closes on an introspective note of self-love with an addictive, rhythmic chorus.
