Running Man : Thank you for RUNNING with us for long..

Following up with news of former cast member, Kang Gary leaving Running Man to focus more on music. Cast members Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook were going to be removed from Running Man without any notice. On December 19, 2016 in Seoul, the SBS production crew held an emergency meeting. They met up with all six members to help clear the issue and misunderstanding. Meanwhile, it was decided that Running Man will be coming to an end in February, 2017.

The Producers has mentioned and vowed to fans to do the their best for the rest of the remaining episodes for fans and gave thanks to the loyal fans who were supportive of Running Man.

The production team also mentioned “Running Man members and producers gathered together in Seoul today for an emergency meeting and overcame their misunderstandings and miscommunications. After deep and lengthy discussion both sides decided to end the show at the end of February 2017…However, they decided that they did not want to end the show on such a sad note so therefore decided to have all 6 members, Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Haha, Lee Kwang Soo, Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook.”

Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook has also mentioned and decided that they both will donate the remaining of their salary they receive from Running Man.

Kang Gary also shared his support for both Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook when announced they were going to be removed without notice on his Instagram.
