The start of their true friendship that overcomes language barriers!

Yogyakarta, the Neverending Asia and Heaven on Earth Bali!

Lee Seung-gi and Jasper Liu, two stars from different backgrounds, embark upon a healing travel variety experience through various destinations in Asia to meet their fans on Twogether.

The first stills show the beginning of the pair’s journey in Indonesia. While they have different nationalities and are familiar with different languages, the two men overcome the initial awkwardness almost immediately. Making efforts to learn phrases in each other’s languages, there are many funny moments as each actor says what they want to say. Working with a set budget, missions they have to fulfill, and time restrictions, Lee Seung-gi and Jasper Liu start their first mission in Yogyakarta. First, they view the beautiful Heaven’s Light view at Jomblang Cave. Next, they learn about Hindu culture and history at Prambanan Temple. Then they try out fishing in the emerald waters of Bali. After a physically intensive day, the actors do yoga to heal their bodies and minds. With many diverse and fun activities, viewers can enjoy the experiences vicariously.

On working with Jasper Liu for the first time, Lee Seung-gi complimented him saying, “He’s such a cool actor and a good person. At first I was worried about communication, but I enjoyed filming so much because we worked in better harmony than I had expected and he was a very comfortable friend.” Jasper Liu also praised Lee Seung-gi and commented, “He’s an exceptional entertainer in various fields. Since we both have easygoing and flexible personalities, we were able to become friends immediately.”

Next up, Thailand!

Playing games for clues in Bangkok’s bustling streets and night markets, Seung-gi and Jasper meet other tourists and get a kick out of ax-throwing at Artbox. The pair then explore Damnoen Saduak floating market and go head-to-head in a goofy water bicycle race in Chiang Mai.

The final adventure in Nepal.

Seung-gi and Jasper hops to Pokhara, Nepal, where they hope to catch a glimpse of the majestic Annapurna before the buddies land in historic Kathmandu for their final adventure.

Look forward to Lee Seung-gi and Jasper Liu’s friendly chemistry seen in the stills from their Asia trip. Twogether will be available on Netflix only, on June 26, 2020.
