PUMA Selects IVE As APAC Ambassador

IVE appointed as PUMA APAC ambassador across the Asia-Pacific region

Starting with the release of the Korean campaign in July, it is to launch a full-fledged promotion in the APAC region

Global sports brand PUMA selected K-POP girl group “IVE” (under Starship Entertainment) as its ambassador for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

IVE will act as PUMA’s APAC ambassador in 15 countries in Asia and Oceania. Together with IVE, who has emerged as a leading figure in the K-POP world and an icon of the MZ generation, PUMA plans to launch various brand activities, such as campaigns and events, to communicate actively with fans and consumers around the world and captivate the global market.

PUMA unveiled the first pictorial with IVE to commemorate the selection of its ambassadorship. You can see the charming visuals of the 6 members styled with PUMA’s iconic T7 track jacket and Suede sneakers.

With IVE’s first full-scale album “I’ve IVE” released in April selling more than 1.1 million copies, IVE became a million seller for two consecutive years. After the title song “I AM” topped Korea’s major music sites Melon and Genie, “Kitsch” also made it to the top 5 on the weekly chart, showing the continued popularity of IVE and proving the power of their songs. In addition, IVE is showing great success not only on domestic but also overseas charts. According to the latest chart released by American music media outlet Billboard, IVE made it to the “Billboard Global 200” and “Billboard Global Excl. US” charts with their double title songs. “I AM” charted for 8 consecutive weeks and ranked 38th, and “Kitsch” ranked 168th. On the 31st of last month, they released their first Japanese album “WAVE” and started full-fledged global activities.

Starting with the concert in Korea in February, IVE successfully wrapped up their first fan concert tour since their debut, “The Prom Queens,” in Tokyo and Kobe, Japan. Followed by the concerts held in Manila, Philippines on the 17th, and in Taipei, Taiwan on the 24th, their Asian fan concert tour will be continued in Singapore on the 30th, and Bangkok, Thailand on July 8th.
