shinhwa 51796 Shinhwa (신화)Shinhwa is a popular South Korean boy band. The group consists of six members – 3 vocalists and 3 rappers. They debuted on March 24, 1998 and are known for being the longest running boyband in South Korea. The group has since released eight studio albums, one Greatest Hits album, and two compilation albums.

Shinhwa means “myth” or “legend” in Korean.

  • Eric Mun (Real name: Mun Jung-Hyuk, 문정혁, 文晸赫; 16 February 1979; leader & rapper)

  • Lee Min Woo (이민우, 李玟雨; 28 July 1979; vocalist)

  • Kim Dong Wan (김동완, 金洞完; 21 November 1979; vocalist)

  • Shin Hye Sung (신혜성, 申彗星; Real name: Jung Pil-Kyo, 정필교, 鄭弼敎; 27 November 1979; Main vocalist)

  • Jun Jin (전진, 前進; Real name: Park Choong-Jae, 박충재, 朴忠裁; 19 August 1980; rapper & vocalist)

  • Andy Lee (Real name: Lee Sun-Ho, 이선호, 李先皓; 21 January 1981; rapper)

    this should be updated. where’s their 8th studio album State of the Art? anyway, Shinhwa is the longest running boyband in Korean history. so that, in a way, makes them a real shinhwa (legend) themselves. Eric, as the leader, played a big role in keeping the group alive until now

    i really,really,really,really like diz group..they sing very well, they dance very well, n everything about them are very well.. i hope one day they come to malaysia n have some good time here..best of luck to SHINHWA..love u guys..

    I love Shinhwa!!!!! I tink they are the best of the best, but that’s just my opinion. I love everything about them. The way they sing the way they are as a group and their personalities, if you son’t believe me go to youtube.com and look up shinhwa tributes.

    YES, THEY ARE THE BEST…..AND THE LONGEST RUNNING GROUP IN KOREA BOYBAND HISTORY…..THEY HAVE AMAZING PERSONALITIES, AND ARE VERY TALENTED, THEIR FRIENDSHIP IS ONE OF A KIND IN THE WORLD. THEY SHARE A BOND THAT NOBODY CAN BREAK, AND THE TRUST AND SUPPORT FOR EACH OTHER IS AMAZING. ALSO THE LOVE AND RESPECT FOR SHINHWA CHANGJO…..IS UNIQUE AND SPECIAL…….

    they already have their 9th album :D as well winter story for 2007 . . not sure . .i think every year their having winter story? . . same as DBSK-Mirotic . . their album no. 9th sell in diff version . .i think the latest is white version?

    some of the member joined military dy (Eric and Kim Dong Wan) . . waiting next is Min Woo and Andy . .

    except Eric . .all of them dy have their solo debut . . and Eric just release his latest drama Choi Kang Chil woo (if im not mistaken) before go to his military service . .

    3 of the member, kim dong wan, jun jin and hyesung joined family outing tv show :D

    Cant wait for their next album which will be produced by next 2-3 years after all of them finish their military service (except hyesung due to his injury)
