My Strange Hero: Our Second First Love Story
My Strange Hero is a 30-episode romance comedy drama starring Yoo Seung-ho (I’m Not a Robot, Remember), Jo Bo-ah (Goodbye to Goodbye, Sweet Stranger And Me) & Kwak Dong-yeon (ID: Gangnam Beauty). This will be comeback drama of Yoo Seung-ho after a year, the new work of Jo Bo-ah after being well received for her acting in Goodbye to Goodbye, and Kwak Dong-yeon’s first villain role following his debut.
<My Strange Hero> is about a man named Kang Bok-soo (Yoo Seung-ho), who returns to his old school to enact revenge after he was expelled as a student due to a false and terrible accusation. He returns to school as an adult and plans revenge, but gets swept up in a series of other incidents. However, he soon becomes entangled again with his first love from the past, Son Soo-jung (Jo Bo-ah), and Oh Se-ho (Kwak Dong-yeon), the childhood friend of Kang Bok-soo and the current chairman of Seol Song High School’s board of directors.

Yoo Seung-ho’s kind nature, friendly appearance, and optimistic personality are similar to those of main character Kang Bok-soo. Kang Bok-soo re-enters high school with the intentions of being a small hero, but the school is no longer a place for love and romance. Yoo Seung-ho will be able to show the charms of a failed, small hero. Jo Bo-ah will capture viewers’ attention as she takes on the role of the cute, confident and blunt Son Soo-jung. Jo Bo-ah will showcase her “first love” charms in the drama with her lovely personality. Kwak Dong-yeon will show a completely different image from what he has shown in his previous works. He is surprising everyone by being perfectly in sync with his character. This will also mark Produce 101 S2 Yoo Seon-ho’s first public broadcast station drama debut, after making his web drama acting debut.
