UiTM to Hold Korean Cultural Festival on June 9

The Korean Language Club of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) will be bringing “Korea” to their main campus in Shah Alam on June 9.

You are cordially invited to the event to learn about Korean culture, foods, the K-pop phenomenon and many more! The great news is, the event is open to the public and admission is FREE!

The event is called the Korean Cultural Festival 2012, and will be held at the Foyer of the Faculty of Engineering from 10 am onwards. Early birds will get a chance to win vouchers worth RM20 from The Street Cafe, a halal Korean street food restaurant.

Among the activities are mini-games, pop quizzes, cooking competition and Hanji & calligraphy lessons. On top of that, there is a hanbok trial & photo shoot session, movie screening, taekwondo demonstration, a ‘Kimchi Kontest’ and many more!

For K-pop lovers, Malaysia-based fan clubs of DBSK, MBLAQ, X-5 and N-Train will be selling merchandise.
