GOT7 fans around the world tuned in to Twitter to #AskGOT7 questions

K-pop band GOT7 (@GOT7Official) once again made waves on Twitter, this time with their exclusive Twitter Blueroom session on 4 December. The hour-long session had fans from all over the world tune in, and generated 4 million Tweets and saw over 1.5 million views.

When the band went live on Twitter, the hashtags #AskGOT7 and #TwitterBlueroom topped Twitter’s trending conversations globally, along with related hashtags that included #GOT7, #갓세븐, #GOT7_Miracle, #KpopTwitter, #GOT7_PresentYOUandME and the members’ names.

 

 

On 1 December, GOT7 announced on Twitter that they will be participating in an exclusive Twitter Blueroom that will include a Q&A session – fans can Tweet any questions and the members will answer these questions live during the Blueroom session.

 

 

During GOT7’s live Q&A broadcast, fans tweeted their reactions and questions about GOT7’s comeback and its latest album #GOT7_PresentYOUandME.

 

 

In addition to South Korea, Japan and Southeast Asian countries, Ahgase across the world, including USA, Brazil, Argentina, Tweeted their love and support to the band.

The Twitter Blueroom session is one of GOT7’s latest promotional activities for its comeback album <PRESENT: YOU>&ME. The album is a 2-CD album repackaged from the third album ‘Present: YOU’, which was released last September. This new album has a total of 28 tracks and will feature three new songs: “Miracle”, “Take Me to You” and “I Can’t See You”.

Not only will CD 1 feature the above mentioned songs, it will also feature songs from the 2018 GOT7 World Tour. In addition, CD 2 will feature ‘Lullaby’, their hit single from Present: YOU, and solo tracks from all GOT7 members.

As seen from the tweets below, GOT7 fans were excited about the Twitter Blueroom broadcast.

 

 

Twitter had previously collaborated with the band to treat fans to exclusive behind-the-scenes content directly from the the music video shoot for ‘Lullaby’. This exclusive content could be obtained by clicking on the ‘instant unlock’ button to use the hashtag #lullaby in their tweets, and by doing so, they also stood a chance to win special polaroid pictures of the members, which were showcased during the session.

GOT7 will select seven lucky fans who tuned in to the Twitter Blueroom session and announce the results on its official Twitter account.
