Strong Women Take the Lead
This April, be inspired by leading ladies who have a mind of their own and aren’t afraid to stand their ground on HBO GO and HBO (Astro Ch 411 HD). Two brand-new HBO Original series premiere this month – The Nevers, where individuals who develop new and unusual abilities in Victorian-era London band together under the guidance of two powerful women; and Mare of Easttown, starring Kate Winslet as a local detective who demonstrates sheer grit to solve a murder despite local resistance.
Other series premiering exclusively on HBO GO are the latest season of The Handmaid’s Tale, where Elizabeth Moss returns as a fierce rebel leader in her quest for justice; the brand-new comedy series Made for Love about a wife who flees a suffocating marriage and controlling tech-billionaire husband; and the latest season of A Black Lady Sketch Show which features sketches of hilarious characters and celebrity guests.
Airing for the first time in Asia is the movie Superintelligence, where an all-powerful artificial intelligence decides to save or destroy humanity based on its observation of an unsuspecting woman played by Melissa McCarthy. And finally, witness the misguided antics of Emma as this wealthy socialite dabbles in matchmaking while navigating her own affairs of the heart. Catch both movies on HBO GO and HBO (Astro Ch 411 HD).
Family Extravaganza
Tune-in to Cartoon Network for a brand-new Original Series, Elliott from Earth, and don’t miss the colourful music-loving trolls who embark on a mission to unite the different troll tribes in Trolls World Tour.
There’s also Ben 10,010 for some alien-busting, in which a future, disillusioned Ben 10000 is called out of retirement so he can recruit his 10-year-old self from the past, and more from The Amazing World of Gumball on HBO GO.
Meanwhile, on Oh!K, a young woman plots revenge on everyone who has made her life miserable in Here’s My Plan.

Premieres within 24 hours of Korea on Thursday, 29 April at 7.40pm on Oh!K (Astro Ch 394). New episodes premiere every subsequent Thursdays and Fridays
Based on a winning script from the 2020 MBC Screenwriting Contest, this drama series revolves around a girl who believes her whole life has been miserable. She dreams of revenge on people who are responsible for her misery. Stars Kim Hwan Hee, Ryu Soo Young, Lee Young Jin, Kim Do Hoon and Lee Si Woo.
