The Most Dangerous Yet Alluring Vengeance Story, The Glory, Premieres This 30 December on Netflix

The Glory will be made available for your viewing pleasure this 30 December on Netflix, marking itself as this year’s final Korean Netflix series. The series tells the story of a woman who dedicates her entire life to exact revenge against the childhood bullies who devastated her life.

The Glory is garnering attention as the year-end’s most anticipated series with its dazzling trinity of writer, director, and actors on board in making this notable show:

  1. Writer Kim Eun-sook, known for her hits such as Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Descendants of the Sun and The King: Eternal Monarch
  2. Director An Gil-ho with his past works on Stranger, Happiness, and Memories of the Alhambra;
  3. One of Korea’s most famous actresses Song Hye-kyo together with actor Lee Do-Hyun from Sweet Home!

The Glory is writer Kim Eun-sook and actress Song Hye-kyo’s second time working together after the sensational hit Descendants of the Sun. This time, they are back with a genre exceeding all expectations as their viewers await the launch of the most meticulous yet beautifully woven revenge story.

Director An Gil-ho describes The Glory as a “well-formulated piece of literature,” giving credit to the series as both emitting the feeling of an epic poem and tragic mythology.
