D-5 For Tickets To See DAY6 Live & Meet in North America

DAY6 is finally having their first Live & Meet in North America in October 2017. Their fans MY DAY’s have been patiently waiting for them to appear again in the US after their last appearance at KCON NY last year in 2016.

Formed under JYP Entertainment, DAY6 is a South Korean rock band that entered the Korean music scene in 2015. Consisting of members Jae (lead vocalist, guitarist, rapper), Sungjin (leader, main vocalist, rhythm guitarist), Young K (bassist, vocalist, rapper), Wonpil (synthesizer, keyboardist, vocalist), and Dowoon (drummer), DAY6 defies the general K-pop genre with their band music, each member playing a crucial role in masterfully steering instruments and contributing smooth vocals.

Following their debut EP ‘The Day’ and their second EP ‘Daydream’, the group announced their year-long monthly song release project ‘Every DAY6’. The series takes place from January to December 2017, with a scheduled two-song release on the 6th day of every month. On June 7, 2017, DAY6 thrilled fans with the release of their long-awaited first full-length album ‘Sunrise’ and the announcement of their fanclub’s official name “My Day”. With an estimated 60 million views up-to-date for their official music videos alone, the JYP band is ready to embark on their first North American tour!

They’ve proven their musicality since debut by making it onto #2 on Billboard ‘World Albums’ chart just days after their debut and quickly rose to #1 on all korean music sites with  “Congratulations” was release. The boys have been endlessly travelling around Asia for concerts; their 1st Live Concert “‘DAY6 1st Live Concert ‘D-Day” sold out in 5 mins just 2 months after their debut! They have definitely proven their popularity and are slowly growing, gaining fans from all over the globe calling them to hold concerts in their cities!

In addition to performing some of their hit tracks, DAY6 will engage fans in an intimate fanmeet setting through games and a Q&A session! The band’s first North American tour is scheduled to take place in October 2017.
