[Event Coverage] Kim Jong Kook’s special appearance at the Encorp Strand Mall’s grand opening
It’s good to see Sparta Kook back in Malaysia for the second time! Kim Jong Kook made a special appearance for Encorp Strand Mall‘s grand opening in Kota Damansara on June 7 2014.
After greeting 1 thousand Malaysian fans, Jong Kook opened the showcase with Today More Than Yesterday. Despite making fans worried after contracting a virus in Indonesia just few days before he came to Malaysia, Kim Jong Kook assured fans the he is in good condition now. “It wasn’t that serious actually. I got better now, because I am Sparta!” Jong Kook joked when asked about his well being.
When the MC asked, why there was no Running Man filming in Malaysia, Jong Kook laughed and said “I will make sure to come to Malaysia with Running Man members next time.”
Jong Kook then continued performing other songs, Men Are All Like That and One Man and one last song Loveable, accompanied with a cute choreography. But fans can’t get enough of him, chanting for the encore. Kim Jong Kook once again appear in front of the crowd with Twist King and gave more fan service to his fans.
It’s a very short performance by Kim Jong Kook, but it is enough to heal the hearts of the fans who miss seeing him in Malaysia. We hope to see him again in the near future.
