SNOWDROP : Dishonesty Could Only Go So Far. Words Are Only Told When Needed. Recap and review from Episode 14 and 15
Episode 14

We started off with Black Tiger Kang-moo trying to execute a side plan without Soo-ho’s knowledge, now they are pointing guns at each other. Soo-ho made it really clear with Kang-moo that joining an alliance with him doesn’t mean he chose to stay with the South. Kang-moo suggested that there is no benefit for them to fight each other in this situation.
Blowing up the dormitory, blaming the North agent for the bloodshed at this point has become the main plan and Nam Tae-il is very adamant about it while also saying there is no need for any money transaction from the North until Choi Sur-yeon phoned him directly.
This episode is full of Kang Cheong-ya and Jang Hanna’s best agents of North and South in action. I am very satisfied with the femme fatale scenes in this episode!
Yeong-ro and Soo-ho should have worked out their trust difficulties by now, and they’re being open and honest with each other about their feelings and confiding in one another to share their problems. Both are dealing with their respective fates in their own distinct ways. Isn’t it exactly what a happy couple should do? Sharing your feelings and concerns.

Through Ahn Kyung-hee and Mi-hye’s greed, Kang Cheong-ya managed to open a Swiss Bank account with the money that the couple obtained illegally from ASNP’s fund.
Anything that fell in Boon-ok’s hands always ended up terribly. This time to save herself, she relayed the most vital information to the ASNP base camp through a recharging radio in the wiretapping room that Kang Cheong-ya is a northern spy. Not only that, she managed to spill yet another milk that endangers Yeong-ro’s position in the dormitory.
Don’t miss out on the toe-curling thrill where Cheong-ya escaped her own apartment that is being raided by Ahn Kyung-hee, pre-warned by Jang Hanna.
This is when Ahn Kyung-hee found the secret den of Kang Cheong-ya’s collection of plans. Seeing that he and Mi-hye were a part of Cheong-ya’s plan, he tried to erase the proof and found Nam Tae-il’s secret affair with Cheong-ya, much to his joy.

Heartbroken Yeong-ro retreated to the attic, where she makes wonderful memories with Soo-ho, when the dormitory discovered who she was and treated her as an outcast. We observe two heartbroken people confiding in each other. When your heart rate spikes during a dangerous situation, proving that they actually care for one another, it wasn’t just a fleeting affair.
Soo-ho had persuaded Comrade Joo to alert his superiors, who must be Lim Ji-rok’s nemesis, in order to eliminate him. That’s a great idea! I hadn’t considered it before, but I recall Lim Ji-rok telling him that he is being observed all over the place. This is also when both comrades learned about Soo-ho, who is not related to Lim Ji-rok through blood.
Amidst learning that Cheong-ya is a Northern spy and Nam Tae-il had an affair with her, Seung-shim wails over it to Mi-hye, then they find out that Linda Young whom Mi-hye has invested money to is a fraud, together with the ring that she gifted Mi-hye.
The makjang part is not for naught, the wives really helped break or make their husbands!

Eun Chang-soo along with Hong Ae-ra get Jang Hanna in his own secret plan where he promises all the agents to escape the country safely within his capacity and even promises that Soo-ho’s sister would be safe.
Eun is planning to broadcast the election scheme to the public but it’s not easy for Kang-moo to believe him. Eun convinced Soo-ho when he mentioned that this would jeopardise his position in the ruling party but he cares more about his daughter. This is when, Yeong-ro once again, helps Soo-ho be guaranteed of his safety. Yeong-ro really did a lot for him in such a short span of time, when will we see Soo-ho give back that much of love to her? I feel so sorry for her young naive heart.
Hong Ae-ra is still with the idea of 13 virgins to be murdered and tried to convince Eun to blow the bomb. If only she is in touch with the other wives, she should know already that the fortune teller has vanished.
The President called Eun right afterwards. With just a few ambiguous words, he is shaken.
What would be Eun’s final choice?
The bonus part in this episode is really my favourite, so it turns out Soo-ho and Kang-moo have crossed paths before!
Episode 15

Yeong-ro trusted her father’s plan while Soo-ho wanted her to stay away from him as it’s dangerous but she is persistent. Soo-ho said as long as they are alive they are bound to meet. He again gifted her Su-hui’s necklace that he cherished a lot. She said she will return it to him when they meet again.
Chang-soo chose to save only Yeong-ro even if it needed to break her legs.
Nam Tae-il is being tortured in the interrogation room for having an affair with Northern spy by a happy Ahn Kyung-hee but it was short-lived when he found out that his wife’s investment were stolen by the same spy.
Back in the North, Seu-ryeon pins all the blame on Lim Ji-rok, failure is a federal crime there.

Kang Cheong-ya is being hunted down, watch how Moran Hill 1 escapes the impossible situations closely! I’m so mesmerised by her. Very cool scene not to be missed!
We finally get to learn more about Boon-ok and Miss Pi who seem to have an odd connection during Boon-ok’s mischief in saving herself. It’s pretty shocking and heartbreaking.
There is no signal from Ahn Chang-soo as the night gets deeper. Comrade Joo is about to accomplish his mission of killing Soo-ho but Moran Hill 1 takes him down. She has returned for her love. Ladies and gentlemen, those who favoured one-sided romance, Kang Cheong-ya is the second lead syndrome that you needed.
When ASNP is about to blow the dorm, Eun Chang-soo arrives at the camp, together with his wife and Jang Hanna’s entourage.

The makjang gang are now finally in one scene with their husbands, they were pointing guns at each other when Kang Cheong-ya called to tell them that the 300 million dollars money that they foolishly handed over to her is in the dorm, so blowing up the dorm means the money will burn too.
The wives ARE important in influence points! The cat fight between Mi-hye and Seung-shim made everyone stunned. Jang Hanna is just so done with the situation that she went to slap an intimate picture of Nam Tae-il and Kang Cheong-ya ON the detonator switch, almost activating the bombs to end the dragging fiasco in the camp once and for all.
The North agents are trying to talk to Comrade Joo out about his well-being, that it would be useless to sacrifice his life as his higher up, Deputy Director of MSS, Choi Su-ryeon won’t care. Soo-ho just found out who has ordered Comrade Joo and he was so surprised. Why?
Lim Ji-rok tried to stir Su-ryeon’s heart with the son that she abandoned to climb the ladder in the party who turned out to be Soo-ho. But Su-ryeon did not shake, she maintained the order to kill, saying that her son had died years ago. Although it shows that her eyes beady at the thought.

Lim Ji-rok is being arrested but not without saying that he was mistaken to think of Su-ryeon as a human. There is also another agent in the dorm that can kill Soo-ho other than Comrade Joo.
It was only days before Soo-ho learned the man he called ‘father’ ordered to kill him, now he got to know that his blood-related mother too, ordered a comrade to follow him.
Here is for that love triangle moment. Heartbroken Soo-ho is talking as comrades with Cheong-ya and Yeong-ro is watching them from floor 2. It’s pretty unique how Kang Cheong-ya confessed to Soo-ho, watch this properly!
Eun Chang-soo had yet another layer of plan, to save his own daughter BUT Soo-ho offered an alternative, of course, courtesy of Kang Cheong-ya. She is really living the name of best agent of the North, I am so happy about this.
Now it’s really up to Eun Chang-soo AGAIN to make a decision.
We have a new situation! The thrill did not end! Remember the other spy? All the characters that we learnt from the first few episodes finally got to play their roles further!
Soo-ho told Yeong-ro they had to leave first, Yeong-ro wants Soo-ho to have her mother’s scarf but Soo-ho returns it to her, saying if he takes it, it won’t be returned.
This made Yeong-ro anxious. He pulled his classic, ice-cold hearted man but this time, with such sad eyes.
Boon-ok and Comrade Joo exchanged glances for nanoseconds and went their own way. That is all for their little sparks that have ever happened.
A new situation has come up and Yeong-ro AGAIN is going to save Soo-ho!
